iDisc Golf Scorecard App Reviews

Do not recommend

Easy to keep score while playing but lacking otherwise. Once you have saved a game you cannot return to it and view individual holes and you cannot delete games once they are saved or edit them if you made a mistake. Also, once you upgrade there is nothing different about the app. There is nothing extra and there are still ads. Not impressed.

Not great

Terrible if I could post 1/2 star then I would. Cant go back and see hole scores from rounds. After a month it kicks ya out unless your willing to pay for this terrible service. DONT download

Better than nothing but not great, yet

Its an okay app, works as a score card and shows you under/over and total stats but there is zero editing available. Say you make a course card, then want to update it - no luck. Maybe you accidentally end a round and need to edit or change something - nope. Once a round is posted, even if it says 0 score, you cannot delete or change it. I emailed the developer to see if there was something I was missing and they never replied. Okay For free but not worth the 99¢ upgrade.

Time trial only

Decent score keeper but requires purchase to use after timed trial, lame.

Yay!

An awesome free scorecard app. Had been trying to find one for awhile but they all seemed to be paid apps. Imagine my surprise when all the courses I play were preloaded too. Creators must be local? See you on the links!

No good

Unless this has the course you play, odds are it does not, this is of no use to you. There are only a few courses and there are tons in this country. Why not make a generic one that the user can customize?

Nice idea

I think this is a good idea. Although I am not near the courses listed I can use the quick play feature for my local course.

Average

I would use this application if I just wanted to keep score and be able to see scores compared to other friends. Would be nice if there were a way to score and keep it as a record to be accessed later.

Good

All of the courses are in Mississippi, I think but u can use quick play. Most of the time you play every hole as a par 3 so this works, if u dont play that way then... Ur outta luck, there is noway to change par. There is no archive for past games but you can take screen shots with a iPhone so this is no problem. Its good for a free app.

Awesome!!!

I am from Mississippi and this app is awesome. If previous people would read the app details he says it has all Mississippi ones. Good app!!!

Awesome

If you live in MS.

Good… just needs save capabilities

I like this app… especially that if your course is not in the program, you can use a "Quick Play" option for default. However, I will not use this again until there is a save function. Either in-app or by sending an email or something like that. Once you complete your game, it just goes away so you better take a screen shot of your score first.

Games easily erased

Maybe Im using it wrong, but its way way to easy to hit home which erases your current game. Happened 2x in the first game. Found a different score card app that has databases for all states and a far superior interface.

Awesome free scorecard

Great free scorecard. Easy to use, simple design. Sure Id like a few more features but hey its free. Thanks.

Not quite there.

Great idea for an app but, there is no editor. So you are stuck with the default courses. Also, the layout for the score is a bit weird but, thats more a personal thing I guess. I would prefer the strokes to be at par then hit plus or minus to set your score. Lastly, It would be nice to have all players pars for a single hole on one screen. I feel like that this is something not a lot of score apps do and would set this one apart. Will keep the app installed in hopes an update will bring my courses.

custom pars

cant custom pars on quick play. fix that and you would have a better ap

Very basic

This ap is really just a digital score clicker. There is no ability to customize. Can only choose from a short list of national courses. Im deleting it.

Limited

Pros: quick play keeps up to 4 peoples score. Cons: no custom pars, limited to a few national courses. Pretty poor overall design. This could have easily been a good disc golf scorecard but the limitations outweigh the benefits.

Can lose scores

Quick play with 1-4 players works ok. Useless course selection unless you are in Mississippi. Small tap targets for each hole, but manageable. Big problem: easy to over-write scores without realizing, and the app can also drop your score if you are using other apps at the same time (like camera).

Blarh

If you dont live in Mississippi you will hate this.
